Prayer for Businesses

Gracious God,

Source of wisdom, provision, and truth,

I lift before You all businesses, corporations, and financial institutions.

Grant leaders integrity of heart and clarity of mind.

May decisions be guided not only by profit, but by the health of people, responsibility, and compassion.

Help executives, managers, and boards to steward resources wisely

and to remember that people are always more valuable than numbers.

Bless employees at every level.

May their work be meaningful, their labor respected,

and their livelihoods secure.

Let workplaces be marked by fairness, dignity, and mutual respect.

I pray for honesty in financial practices,

for transparency in accounting,

and for courage to resist greed, corruption, and exploitation.

Where systems cause harm, inspire reform;

where inequality grows, awaken generosity and accountability.

May innovation serve the common good.

May wealth be used to strengthen communities,

care for the vulnerable,

and create opportunities for those who have been excluded.

In times of uncertainty, grant stability and wise counsel.

In times of abundance, grant humility and gratitude.

Teach all who handle power and capital

to act as faithful stewards of the trust placed in them.

May businesses become instruments of peace,

channels of provision,

and partners in the flourishing of society.

I offer this prayer with hope,

seeking Your guidance in all economic life.
