Heavenly Father,
God of mercy and compassion,
I come before You with hearts that desire to obey Your Word,
even when it is difficult.
You have called us to love our enemies
and to pray for those who oppose or mistreat us.
Today we lift up our enemies to You.
You know their hearts, their struggles, their wounds,
and the reasons behind their hostility.
We ask that You would bring healing where there is hurt,
light where there is darkness,
and peace where there is turmoil.
Soften their hearts
and draw them toward truth, grace, and salvation.
Break down walls of anger, pride, and bitterness—
and do the same within us.
Help us release resentment,
forgive genuinely,
and walk in the freedom that forgiveness brings.
You prayed for those who crucified You.
Teach us to follow Your example;
to bless instead of curse,
to intercede instead of retaliate,
and to show love instead of hatred.
Give me strength to respond with patience and compassion,
even when it feels undeserved.
I pray that our enemies would encounter Your love
in powerful and unexpected ways.
Transform their hearts, renew their minds,
and lead them into a relationship with You.
Where reconciliation is Your will,
open the door and guide us with wisdom.
Protect me and my family from harm,
Protect our hearts from becoming hardened.
Shape me to look more like Christ;
humble, forgiving, and full of love.
I trust myself and our enemies to Your hands,
believing that You can redeem any situation
and change any heart.
In Jesus name,
Amen.
