Prayer for Farmers and Food Industry

 

Gracious God,

Giver of seed and soil, rain and sun,

I lift before You the food industry and all who labor to feed the world.

Bless farmers, ranchers, and growers,

those who work the land, tend animals, and trust each season to Your provision.

Grant them strength for long days,

wisdom in the face of changing climates,

and hope when harvests are uncertain.

I pray for those who process, transport, prepare, and sell food.

Protect their health and safety,

honor their labor with fair wages and dignity,

Let the food they handle remain nutritious the way you intended.

Grant wisdom to food companies, distributors, and policymakers to reduce food processing and remove harmful things from our food that’s NOT healthy for us.

Let the food be like medicine for our bodies. Eliminate synthetic, GMO, non-food type ingredients from our foods.

Bless the companies aim mission is to provide healthy food for consumers.

Remove deceitful food marketing and manipulation tactics that promote dishonestly.

May food industry leaders decisions promote good health, responsibility, honesty, and care for creation.

Let NOT money or greed outweigh concern for the health of the people, animals, or the earth.

I pray for the land itself,

for soil to be restored, water to be protected,

for practices that preserve food in it’s most natural nutritious state, 

for the earth and future generations.

Teach us to be responsible stewards, not careless consumers.

Remember those who hunger or lack access to nourishing food.

Inspire generosity, innovation, and cooperation

so that abundance is shared and no one is forgotten.

May the food we grow and share

become a source of health, healing, and gratitude.

Bless every table, from field to family,

and let our daily bread remind us of our dependence on You.

With a thankful heart, I solicit this prayer.
