Lord,
Give my wife a calm spirit,
soothe her soul and give her peace today.
Help her to take every thought captive
so she is not led astray.
Reveal to her where there is error in her thinking
and set her back on course
Help her spirit to hear Your voice only.
Fill her with Your Holy Spirit
Wash away anything in her that is not of you.
Balance her emotions
Give her inner tranquility that prevails
no matter what is going on around her,
Enable her to see things
from Your perspective
Allow her to fully appreciate all the good
that is in her life,
Keep her from being blinded by fear and doubt.
Show her the bigger picture
by allowing her to distinguish between
what’s valuable from the unimportant.
Help her to recognize the answers to her prayers.
Show me how to demonstrate my love
in ways she can perceive.
Help us both to hear from You
and live in Your peace
that passes all understanding,
Let Your peace rule in her heart.
